By installing a Firewall you are protecting your network from unauthorised entry into your IT system.

A firewall is a part of a computer system or network that is designed to block unauthorised access while permitting authorised communications. It's purpose is to permit, deny, encrypt and decrypt network traffic both inwards and outwards.
